Ilana Mouritzen is a creative director and communications advisor with 20+ years of global experience across media, politics, and financial services. Prior to launching her own consultancy, Ilana was a managing director of brand communications and marketing at EQT, a global private equity firm. Before that, she was a senior vice president of global public affairs at Blackstone, the world’s largest alternative asset manager. She has worked as a senior communications leader at Bloomberg, News Corp and for the Mayor of New York City. She began her career as a print and radio journalist, and her work has been featured on NPR and in The Atlantic and The Guardian, among others.
As a former reporter, journalism professor and corporate communications executive, Ilana has an in-depth understanding of the paid and earned media space. She is dedicated to helping companies and individuals tell their story in a way that cuts through the noise and builds lasting connections. Her focus areas include brand positioning, strategic storytelling and coaching C-level executives for high-profile interviews and public speaking engagements.
Nina Mouritzen is an executive producer with 20+ years of experience across the fashion, advertising, and tech industries. She is known for managing complex, large-scale projects to deliver on-deadline, on-budget results, and leveraging and managing relationships across a wide network of talent, clients and vendors. She has worked with a wide range of photographers, including Patrick Demarchelier, Mary Ellen Mark and Glen Luchford. Her diverse roster of commercial clients includes Google, Apple Music, La Mer, Cartier, Adidas, Calvin Klein, Uniqlo, Pantene, and Mac Cosmetics, among others. Nina’s editorial work includes features in W Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue.
Nina has extensive experience with all aspects of studio leadership and production, including business development, daily operations, project management, on-set execution and post-production. Having worked as a photographer and producer, as well as on the client side, she has a 360-degree understanding of the photography industry: from creation to implementation to execution to final delivery.
